  • —Note content: Your notes are stored securely in Firebase Firestore under your user account.

  • —Crash reports: If the app crashes, we receive a crash report (no note content is included).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • —To provide and maintain the DontKeep service.
  • —To sync your notes across devices.
  • —To send you important service updates (we don't send marketing emails).
  • —To diagnose bugs and improve stability.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • —Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers in the United States.
  • —We use Firebase Security Rules to ensure only you can read your own notes.
  • —All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
  • —We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

  • —Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, storage, and analytics.
  • —Google Sign-In — optional authentication method.
  • —Apple Sign-In — optional authentication method.
  • —These services have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.

5. Your Rights

  • —Access: You can view all your data within the app.
  • —Deletion: You can delete any note at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us.
  • —Portability: Contact us to request an export of your data.
  • —Correction: You can update your profile information at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

  • —DontKeep is not directed at children under 13.
  • —We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
  • —If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

  • —We may update this privacy policy from time to time.
  • —We will notify you of any significant changes via the app or email.
  • —Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
